In the first half of 2021, Austrian bicycle manufacturer Pierer Mobility sold 53,378 electric and non-motorized bicycles. This is equivalent to a year-on-year increase of 25%.
A total of 39,603 R Raymon, Husqvarna and Gasgas models were sold. Among them, the share of electric bicycles increased greatly, and Austria only sold 13,755 ordinary bicycles.
Pierer Mobility Group’s global motorcycle sales almost doubled to more than 176,000. Sales in this segment increased by 76% in Europe and 160% in North America compared to the previous year. The overall performance is strong. The number of employees increased by approximately 500 to approximately 4,900 employees.
